Happy Monday Readers! I don’t know about you, but Monday is my new favorite day... And if you are like me and almost forgot what day it was when you started your day without a cup of coffee, then here is your friendly welcome to the work week.
Before we jump straight into policy, today’s post is all about answering the basic questions about policy. The reality of our complicated world right now is that we believe we are fighting each other, rather than recognizing that we are all actually fighting poor policy structures. In this post we answer the following questions:
What is policy?
What is the difference between Law and Policy?
Who makes policy?
How is policy created?
What areas of life does policy affect?
Good Policy vs. Bad Policy.
Why does policy matter?
Why is it so complicated?
How to find out more about policies that are being discussed.
What policies this blog focuses on.
It’s this foundation that is going to set us up for success as we lean deeper into functional and dysfunctional policy that we are watching play out on the national and international stages.

The newsletter’s second and final name is…
